Boba Fett Jetpack Harness

One of the most difficult parts to making a great Boba Fett Costume is designing the jetpack harness system, mainly because there isn't much information regarding this essential piece.

This harness is actually a military backpack harness found at an Army/Navy Surplus store. Several extra pieces were stripped off to make this fit better underneath the armor vest.

The harness came with two black metal clips that were sewn into the fabric on the second cloth strip from the top. That was a little too low, so the fabric holding the clips was moved closer to the top.

These pieces had to be hand sewn since the layers of cloth were too thick to fit into a sewing machine.

Last, but not least, spring clips were purchased from Home Depot and they run through the black metal clips. These allow easy access for the steel loops on the jetpack.
