Jawa Eyes

LFL mounted the hemispheres at least two different ways. For ANH, black tape was used to keep them in place. This explains why some of the Jawas had a "squinty" look to them.

In ROTJ, they were mounted on a piece of wood. In the image below, you can make out the outline of the wood slab.
