Jawa Cloak Measure the height of the mannequin and allow a couple of extra inches if you want the "bundle effect" for the bottom or a little less if you want the feet to show. Fold the fabric in half and measure that height. Measure the width from sleeve cuff to sleeve cuff while the mannequin arms are in the rest position. The pattern itself is much like a poncho since there are no seams showing at the shoulders. Make sure the body has enough room for the oversized look and the gap in the front should slighly overlap itself when closed. Sew the seams on the sides and under the arms.

Jawa Hood Notice how the hood shown to the right has a black lining sewn into it. As seen in the illustration above, the hood should also have a bendable wire, like a coat hanger, sewn into the front of the hood to keep it open. The sides of the hood should almost extend to the ends of the shoulders as seen below.
