Rebel Pilot Helmet Tips The Rebel Pilot helmet is based on this AP-H6 flight helmet pictured on the left. The "mohawk" design was the basis for the TIE Fighter Pilot helmet as well. These helmets can be found at Army Surplus stores, or through military surplus catalogs.

Don Post makes a decent looking Rebel Pilot helmet. There are no modifications necessary, unless you'd like to weather the outside a little more. If you're on a budget, this is probably the best helmet for you. Finding a Don Post helmet is becoming more difficult since they lost their LucasFilm license. You may want to check eBay to see if anyone has one for sale.
