Acquiring a Flash Tube One of the easiest places to find a flash unit is on eBay. Begin your search from the main page and use the keyword "mpp or graflex". There are normally a couple of flash tube auctions going on at any given time. You can try looking in your local yellow pages under "Photographic Equipment & Supplies - Retail". Also, try the flea markets and camera shows. |

Unfortunately, the camera flash units are becoming rare and many dealers frown upon people buying these for the purpose of converting them into lightsabers. This is why you probably don't want to tell them why you are looking for this piece. Some dealers may charge extra if they know someone is going to convert it into a lightsaber. Other dealers know what you want it for as soon as you ask if they carry the part, so be ready. You may occassionally find someone who is saying the flash unit is one thing and it's really another.
