Biker Scout Body Suit

LucasFilm originally used a racing suit for their Scouts but the exact model used has been discontinued. A black military flight suit is great once the pockets have been removed with a seam ripper. US Calvary sells them for about $45. (item #WA6440). Local military surplus stores may also carry them.

Black BDU pants can also be made to work for the Biker Scout. These are available at any military surplus store.

Black suede should be sewn in the crotch as shown below. Like the gloves, the suede has turned grey with age.

The Scout also has suede flaps on the back of the pants as well.

Here is a little known fact about the arms of the original jumpsuit: there is a "sleeve within a sleeve" on the uh... sleeves, similar to Boba Fett. The first image is from Chronicles. Because the bicep armor has moved down, the second sleeve is visible.

The second image is a screen cap from Return of the Jedi as Han Solo flips a Biker Scout to the ground. The bicep armor has moved here as well, revealing this illusive seam.
