In the pieces pictured to the right, 3/4" black elastic was used to attach the armor to the wearer (shown below). Snaps were sewn into the elastic for durability but you could also use Velcro closures as well. To help support the armor, place a strip of Velcro on the back of each piece of armor and place a corresponding piece on your jump suit.

Also notice that the webbing loops through slits that were cut in the armor. This is will give the armor more support and it is also more movie accurate.
