Biker Scout Ventilation

The "ears" on the real helmets weren't solid like the Don Post helmets are. These should really be holes. Check out the picture on the previous page to see the Magic of Myth helmet.

Cut out ears for ventilation and better hearing (paint inside of helmet black if desired). A hobby knife works great here, too. If you use a rotary tool, the spinning neck of the tool could marr the side of the helmet so be carefull.

Trim the inner brow so it doesn’t press against your forehead. A rotary tool with a sanding drum will make short work of this problem.
