Snaps are a necessity in certain parts of certain costumes. They hold much more securely than Velcro. There are light duty, sew on snaps, which can be used in areas that won't be holding any weight. Heavy duty snaps are larger and require either a hammer and punch set (the punch set is included with the snaps) or a snap gun.

To install heavy duty snaps, match up the pieces. Each set of snaps uses 2 pieces, front and back. There are 2 sets so that makes 4 pieces total.
