Stormtrooper Tips After applying velcro to the gauntlets, see if you can comfortably move your arms. If the forearms seem too long, mark them with a crayon at the back and carefully trim with a dremel. Be carefull not to take off too much at one time or you may make them too short. Note: you'll need to take off the length from the back, not the front because of the way the forearms are tapered.
If your forearms are chronically twisting, apply a few strips of velcro on the outside of your glove cuff and on the inside of the armor. Another option is to glue strips of foam along the inside of the forearm. |

Stormtrooper Tips On most people, the bicep tends to slide down to the elbow. Even some pictures from the LucasFilm archives show their troopers have the same problem. This can be easily solved by running an elastic strips vertically down the inside of the shoulder bell. First, cut and glue a piece of spare ABS horizontally, as shown in the images below. This will stabilize the elastic strap. The piece shown below was heated and bent to follow the contour of the inside of the shoulder bell. The strap will connect to velcro that is placed on the inside of the bicep.
