Stormtrooper Tips In order to keep the thigh utility belt in place, you may want to use rivets since velcro will begin to let go after a few minutes. Be sure to paint the rivets white after they've been installed. Put a bead of hot glue over the rivet on the inside of the armor so it doesn't dig into your leg.
Here is another place where you may need to trim the armor to get a custom fit. If the thigh seems to ride down too low, you'll need to trim a little off the top to move it up towards your crotch. Mark the area you want to trim with a crayon and sand it down with a rotary tool.

Trooper Shin Tips You may want to consider riveting the knee cap on the left shin. Rivets should only be applied to the left and right sides of the knee cap, not in the middle. If you pull the knee out further from where it wants to naturally sit the knee cap will have some play in it, allowing it to move back and forth while you walk. This will keep the cap from constantly bumping into your knee.
If the calf piece cuts into the back of your knee, it can be easily shortened at the bottom.
