Paint the mouth grey for an ANH version or black for ESB/ROTJ version. Allow the paint to dry for a couple of minutes, then remove the tape. Be carefull not to touch the paint!

Removing the tape early can help prevent the paint from flaking off.

Screen used Stormtroopers did not have a screen in the black "teeth". Most costumers use the screen to prevent people from seeing inside their helmets. If you would like to use screen, cut a template from paper and lay it on your screen. The material shown here is simply black window screen that has been cut with the pattern laying at 90 and 45 degrees.

The 2 pieces of screen were laid on top of each other and hot glued into place. Be sure to apply glue all the way around so the sharp edges are completely covered.
