Begin by obtaining a few square feet of the same gloss white ABS used to make the armor. You should be able to obtain the extra ABS from your armor dealer.

Basically, all you are doing is cutting a piece of plastic to close the gap in the armor. The shim should be placed on the inside of the armor and can be secured with velcro or ABS glue.

This process works equally well on the biceps and forearms. For the calves, use strips of white vinyl instead of plastic. The vinyl will allow more movement in your legs and it will also curve better than plastic. Use heavy duty snaps to secure the vinyl to the inside of the calf armor.
