Velcro can be found on practically every Star Wars costume ever made. It is versitile and easy to use, can be found in many different colors and you can find sticky back Velcro, as well as a sew-on variety. Here are the 2 main types of Velcro:

Industrial (Super) Velcro - This form of Velcro holds things much more secure than the regular type.

Velcro - Regular Velcro holds well but tends to wear out under heavy use.

Both types of Velcro can be found in long rolls or in small packages.
